A Stranger in this World (2007 – now)
I first took an interest in taking photographs when I was about 10 years old, using my parents’ old Canon AE-1. At the beginning, I was mainly interested in taking pictures of animals or people and shooting primarily on film. Later I started to focus more on capturing a feeling of melancholy in scenes from my daily life or travels abroad. Most of my more recent photographs therefore feature deserted looking or foggy cityscapes, giving off a feeling of calmness as well as isolation. I also want to preserve my analogue roots by editing as little as possible and instead doing the work in-camera if at all.
Shot on CANON AE-1, FUJIFILM X-T20, CANON EOS 250D
